Anti-Spam & Acceptable Use Policy
Version 1.0 · Last updated 4 November 2026
Kasplo supports responsible customer communication. This policy sets the rules for using the services of Kasplo Internet Private Limited (“Kasplo”), including Marketing Cloud, Email API/SMTP, enabled SMS and WhatsApp services, Email Verification and Email Intelligence.
1 Scope and application
This policy forms part of your service agreement with Kasplo (“Agreement”) when incorporated into that Agreement. It applies to your users, sending profiles, campaigns, automations, API traffic and integrations.
You must use the Services lawfully and remain responsible for your recipients, messages, collection practices and authorised users. Agencies and partners must have authority to act for each business they represent. Each party remains responsible for duties the law imposes directly on it.
This policy establishes permitted use. It does not replace the Terms of Service, Data Processing Addendum or Privacy Policy, or change agreed commercial terms.
2 Permission-based messaging
Kasplo is a permission-based messaging service. Marketing must be expected by the recipient and supported by valid permission for the identified business, purpose and channel.
Obtain required consent and keep reasonable evidence of its source, date, wording and scope. Any limited existing-customer exception must satisfy applicable law and channel rules, including any required opt-out at collection. A purchase, enquiry or event registration does not automatically authorise unrelated marketing.
You must not:
Use bought, leased, harvested or scraped contact lists for sending through Kasplo.
Treat public contact details, business cards, a broker’s assurance or email verification as permission to send marketing.
Send unsolicited cold outreach, including unsolicited business-to-business prospecting.
Use another business’s audience without the recipient’s valid permission for your business.
Send marketing after a relevant opt-out or disregard consent withdrawal.
Where a jurisdiction permits broader outreach, Kasplo’s permission-based requirements still apply. You must be able to demonstrate compliance when reasonably requested.
3 Transactional and service messages
Genuine transactional messages may support an action or relationship the recipient initiated, such as an authentication request, order confirmation, receipt or essential account notice. They need a lawful purpose and accurate recipient details.
Do not label advertising as transactional to avoid permission, template or unsubscribe requirements. Mixed promotional and service content must follow the rules applicable to its actual purpose.
A marketing opt-out does not automatically prevent a separately lawful, necessary service message. It must never be used as an opportunity to continue unwanted promotion. Do not use authentication, recovery or notification features to repeatedly contact or harass someone.
4 Sender identity and message requirements
Send only on behalf of businesses and domains you own or are authorised to represent. Complete the sender verification and authentication required for the selected service, and maintain the relevant DNS and sender registrations.
Messages must identify their sender honestly. Do not disguise routing information, impersonate another brand, or use deceptive subjects, links or offers. Provide contact and postal details and identify advertising where applicable law requires them.
Marketing email must contain a clear, working way to unsubscribe. Provide one-click unsubscribe where the relevant mailbox-provider rules require it. Do not remove, conceal or disable required opt-out features.
Using an API, dedicated IP or customer-supplied template does not create an exception to these rules.
5 Opt-outs and suppression
Honour opt-outs without undue delay and within the shortest applicable legal or channel-provider deadline. Until the applicable exclusion is effective, do not send further marketing covered by the request.
Do not require payment, an account login or unnecessary personal information to stop marketing. Observe the scope of the recipient’s choice, including a request to stop all marketing from the relevant business.
Keep your connected systems and sending profiles consistent with that choice. Do not restore an opted-out contact through a new import, integration or profile unless the person has validly renewed permission. Do not work around a complaint, suppression or other delivery-safety block.
A limited suppression record may be kept where lawful to respect the recipient’s preference.
6 List quality and sending practices
Keep recipient data accurate and current, remove invalid addresses, respect repeated delivery failures and review disengaged audiences. Do not guess addresses or test a questionable list by sending messages to discover which addresses work.
Monitor delivery failures, complaints, opt-outs and provider warnings. Kasplo may require permission evidence, list remediation, lower volumes or other reasonable steps where traffic creates a material deliverability or abuse risk.
Sending limits and provider requirements apply even to otherwise lawful messages. A low complaint rate does not make a prohibited audience or message acceptable. Kasplo does not guarantee delivery or inbox placement.
7 Prohibited content
You must not use Kasplo to distribute or facilitate:
Fraud, phishing, credential theft, deceptive offers, counterfeit goods or impersonation.
Malware, harmful attachments, malicious links or unauthorised collection of personal information.
Child sexual exploitation, trafficking, pornography or illegal sexual services.
Credible threats, targeted harassment, promotion of violence or unlawful discrimination.
Illegal goods, unlawful services, pyramid schemes or other dishonest fundraising or investment activity.
Content infringing another person’s privacy, intellectual property or other legal rights.
A lawful regulated business is not automatically excluded. However, particular messages, products or channels may be restricted by law or downstream-provider rules. Kasplo may require additional review or written approval for regulated or high-risk use cases. Approval never overrides a legal or channel prohibition.
Minimise personal information in messages and contact records. Do not submit unnecessary medical records, full payment-card details, identity documents or authentication secrets. Processing requiring additional legal or sector-specific safeguards must be expressly agreed.
8 Platform and integration abuse
Do not attack or disrupt Kasplo or another system; access accounts, mailboxes or data without authority; distribute stolen credentials; or conduct intrusive security testing without permission.
Do not evade account restrictions, payment controls, rate limits or anti-abuse checks by using additional accounts, sending profiles, domains or IPs. Do not conceal abusive traffic by moving it between providers or identities.
Use verification and intelligence features only for lawfully held data and authorised systems. They must not be used to prepare unsolicited lists, discover confidential information or validate unlawfully obtained contacts.
Protect API keys, SMTP credentials and webhook endpoints. Promptly report suspected compromise and stop known unauthorised use.
9 SMS, WhatsApp and other channels
Use each channel only within your enabled service scope and its applicable legal and provider requirements.
For Indian SMS traffic, complete applicable principal-entity, sender/header, content-template and consent requirements, including relevant DLT registrations and transmission identifiers. Use the correct message category.
For WhatsApp, obtain the required recipient opt-in, use an authorised business identity and follow Meta’s applicable template, conversation, content and opt-out rules.
Permission for email does not automatically authorise SMS or WhatsApp marketing. Follow relevant recipient preferences, timing restrictions and country-specific registrations. Do not route promotional content through a service category to evade restrictions.
10 Reviews and enforcement
Kasplo may investigate suspected abuse and request relevant evidence, such as collection records, message samples, registrations or an explanation of sending activity. Reviews must be proportionate; relevant information will be handled under applicable processing and privacy terms.
Where reasonably necessary, Kasplo may decline messages, limit traffic, restrict an affected profile or channel, or suspend affected access. Urgent action may be taken to address abuse, security threats, binding requirements or material risks to recipients, other customers or infrastructure.
Where practicable, Kasplo will explain the concern and corrective steps before a restriction, or promptly afterwards where advance notice is unsuitable. Restoration depends on reasonably resolving the grounds for restriction. Serious, repeated or unremedied violations may lead to termination under the Agreement.
A review is not approval of every message and does not transfer your compliance duties to Kasplo. Fees, refunds, termination rights and liability remain governed by the Agreement and mandatory law; this policy creates no separate fine or liability cap.
11 Report unwanted messages or abuse
Send reports to support@kasplo.com. Where available, include the original message with full headers, the sender, date and time, relevant links, and details of any earlier opt-out.
Provide only information needed to assess the report. Do not include passwords, payment credentials or unrelated sensitive records.
Kasplo will assess relevant reports and may request further information. Privacy or security obligations may limit the investigation details we can share.
12 Updates and contact
Policy changes follow the notice and acceptance rules in the Agreement. Necessary urgent protective changes may apply where that Agreement and law permit; publication alone does not override negotiated terms.
